Deleted users to control SPAM

Post by sharpfork » Mon Jan 13, 2014 6:39 pm

We have had significant issues with spam in the forum and a significant number of unused accounts. We deleted a bunch of accounts from users who had not posted. If you try to log in and it isn't working, please try to recreate your user. We have implemented a manual approval of new accounts to further combat the spam issues.

Thanks for your patience!

The number of potential spam accounts continues to grow (58 of them :( ) so it's once again time to trim the non-posting accounts.

If you are a lurker who just wants to subscribe to threads, The Official "I'm not a Spambot" Thread was created for you. :D

Please take the time to post once so we don't mistake you for a spammer.

All non-posting accounts will get a lump of coal in their stocking (be deleted) on Christmas morning.

Thereafter, any non-posting account more than 2 weeks old is fair game for deletion.

Thanks in advance for making the administrative work easier for the mods so they can focus on the fun stuff -- improving and expanding the KADE. :D
